Qualification Requirements - EDUCATION: Graduation from a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). LICENSE: A current, valid State license as a physical therapy assistant in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. EXPERIENCE: Have at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months. CERTIFICATION - PTA must have basic life support (BLS) certification.
